What does a regular home clean in Norwest include?
A regular home clean in Norwest, NSW 2153, normally covers the kitchen, the bathrooms, the floors, dusting of accessible surfaces, bins, and the general tidying of living and bedroom areas. It is performed weekly or fortnightly, and it applies to houses, townhouses and apartments in the residential towers around Norwest station.
Some tasks sit outside a routine clean and are normally priced separately: the inside of the oven, the inside of the fridge, interior windows above reach, exterior windows, walls, balconies, garages, and deep carpet or upholstery cleaning. These are real jobs with real time attached rather than tasks that can be absorbed into a weekly visit.
Clean Best assigns one named, police-checked cleaner to each Norwest home and keeps them on it. Prices are fixed and agreed in writing before the first visit, and there is no minimum term or lock-in on residential work.

The detail
Home cleaning Norwest households can plan a week around
Home cleaning Norwest households buy is bought for one reason and kept for another. It is bought because the week has run out of hours. It is kept — or not kept — depending on whether the same person turns up every time. That is the entire finding of this page, and it is why the first thing on our list is not a task, it is a name.
Norwest is a suburb where a lot of people work long days in the business park or commute on the metro, and where a lot of the newer housing is apartments in towers rather than houses on streets. Both facts change what a cleaning service actually has to be: the cleaner will usually be in an empty home, and getting into the home may involve a building rather than a front gate.
The same person, every time
One named, police-checked cleaner is assigned to your home and stays on it. They learn the layout. They learn that the stone benchtop takes a specific product and the timber floor takes another. They learn where things live, so the house is put back rather than merely cleaned. They learn what you actually care about, which is never everything and is never the same for two households.
A cleaner who has been in your home twenty times is doing a visibly better job than any rotating pool, however competent the individuals are. That is not sentiment, it is just how learning works, and it is the single thing that determines whether you are still happy in month nine.
Getting in, when you are not there
Most of our Norwest clients are not home when we clean, which is rather the point. So access is agreed before the first visit: a key, a lockbox, a building fob, or letting us in yourself if you would rather. Keys and codes are held only by your cleaner and their named supervisor, and are returned and re-issued whenever either changes. Stop the service and everything comes back before the last invoice.
In a tower, there is an extra step and we do it rather than discovering it: visitor parking or the dock, lift booking if the building requires it for equipment, and a console sign-in where there is one. We arrange it with building management before the first clean.
A fixed price, not an hourly rate
An hourly rate is an incentive to work slowly and a licence to blow out. We quote a fixed price for an agreed scope. If the scope changes — you want the oven done, you have added a room, you have a puppy now — we requote it and tell you, rather than quietly taking longer and charging more or quietly doing less and charging the same.
What is not in a routine clean, said plainly
Inside the oven. Inside the fridge. Interior windows above reach, and exterior windows at all. Walls. Balconies. Garages. Deep carpet and upholstery work. Every one of those is available and every one of them is priced separately, because each is genuinely an hour or two of work on its own. A weekly clean that claims to include all of it is a weekly clean where something else has silently stopped happening — usually the bathrooms getting the time they need.
If it is not right
Say so. Call the supervisor or ring 1300 494 983. If it is within the scope, we come back and fix it before your next visit and you are not charged. We would very much rather hear about it in week two than have you quietly put up with it until you leave without telling us why.
Call 1300 494 983 and we will give you a fixed price for your Norwest home.
Apartments
Cleaning an apartment in a Norwest tower is a slightly different job
The cleaning is the same. The logistics are not. A tower means a building with its own rules: where a contractor may park, whether the lift needs booking to bring equipment up, whether there is a console sign-in, and what the building expects to know about who is in it while you are at work.
None of that is difficult, but it is the kind of thing that turns a first visit into a wasted hour if it has not been sorted out in advance. So we sort it out in advance, with building management, before your cleaner is standing in the lobby with a vacuum and no fob.
It also means your cleaner is entering a building where other people live. They are police-checked, they are named, they are the same person every visit, and the building knows who they are. That should be the minimum, and it is worth checking that whoever you engage can actually say it.
In practice, that means
- Building access, parking and lift booking sorted before the first visit
- Your cleaner is named to building management, not an anonymous contractor
- Fobs and keys held only by your cleaner and their named supervisor
- Bins taken to the building's bin room, not left on the landing
What's included
What a regular clean covers in your Norwest home
A typical weekly or fortnightly scope. Yours is agreed before the first visit — this is the shape it usually takes.
- Kitchen — benchtops, splashback, sink, taps, cooktop, rangehood face, cupboard fronts
- Kitchen appliances wiped outside; microwave cleaned inside; fridge exterior and handles
- Bathrooms — shower, screen, bath, basin, taps, mirror, toilet inside and out
- Bathroom floors mopped, including behind the toilet, which is the honest test
- All floors vacuumed and mopped, including under furniture that can be reached
- Dusting of accessible surfaces, shelves, sills, skirtings and picture rails on rotation
- Bedrooms tidied to your instruction; beds made or linen changed if you leave it out
- Living areas — surfaces wiped, cushions straightened, remotes and switches disinfected
- Mirrors and internal glass cleaned free of marks
- Bins emptied and liners replaced; recycling taken to the building or the kerb
- Ceiling fans, vents and door tracks on a rotation so nothing goes a year untouched
- Entry — door, handle, and the mat that keeps the grit off everything else
- Home left secured exactly as we found it, and the key or fob returned to its place
Inside the oven, inside the fridge, interior windows above reach, exterior windows, walls, balconies, garages, and deep carpet or upholstery cleaning are all available and all quoted separately.

FAQ
Home cleaning questions from Norwest households
The same cleaner, access, apartments, what is not included, changing the schedule, products and putting things right.
Will I get the same cleaner every visit?
Yes, and it is the whole point. Clean Best assigns one named, police-checked cleaner to your Norwest home and keeps them there. They learn your layout, which surfaces need which product, where things live and what you actually care about — and a cleaner who has been in your home twenty times does a visibly better job than a rotating pool ever will. When they are on leave, a relief cleaner who has been briefed on your home attends.
Do I need to be home while you clean?
No, and most Norwest clients are not — that is rather the point when you work in the park or commute on the metro. Clean Best agrees an access arrangement with you before the first visit: a key, a lockbox, a building fob, or letting us in yourself if you prefer. Keys and codes are held only by your cleaner and their named supervisor, and returned when either changes or when you stop the service.
Can you clean an apartment in a Norwest tower?
Yes. Clean Best cleans apartments in the residential towers around Norwest as well as houses in the surrounding streets. In a tower we work through the building's own access rules — visitor parking or the loading dock, lift booking where the building requires it for equipment, and a sign-in at the console if there is one. We sort that out with building management before the first visit rather than turning up and finding out.
What is not included in a standard home clean?
Clean Best keeps several things out of the routine scope and quotes them separately: inside the oven, inside the fridge, interior windows above reach, exterior windows, walls, balconies, garages, and any deep carpet or upholstery work. They are all available — they are just real jobs with real time attached, and folding them into a weekly clean means either the price goes up or something else quietly stops being done.
Can I change or pause the schedule?
Yes, freely. Clean Best runs residential work with no lock-in and no minimum term. Move a visit, skip a week, pause for a holiday, change from weekly to fortnightly or back again. We ask for reasonable notice on an individual visit — the cleaner's time is committed to you, and a same-day cancellation costs them the shift — but there is nothing you have to sign your way out of.
Do you bring your own products and equipment?
Yes. Clean Best cleaners bring commercial-grade equipment and the correct product for each surface. If you prefer we use your products — because of an allergy, a sensitivity, a stone benchtop that needs a specific pH, or simply a preference — tell us and we will. Just be aware that a product chosen for its smell rather than its chemistry may not do what you want it to on the surface you want it used on.
What if something is not done well?
Tell your supervisor or call 1300 494 983. If it is within the agreed scope, Clean Best will come back and put it right before your next scheduled visit, at no charge. That is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, not instead of them. We would rather hear about it at the time than have you quietly get frustrated for three months and then leave without saying why.
